Oak Park Unified public high school is a relatively small high school in the suburb (approximately 1,410 students) located in Eastern Ventura County, on the line adjacent to the city of Los Angeles.
OPHS public school is the unique public high school in this area. School teaches students from grade 9 to 12 and won in the title of national level about educational quality of the United States Government (National Blue Ribbon School).
School is proud of the high quality of pre-university program. The main objective of the school is wishing all students can achieve high academic results and give the best support for them on the way entering into university. There are more than 99% of graduate students and over 96% of these students continue their college studying
Living Environment
Oak Park is a small community of less than 15,000 residents and about half an hour to the west of the city of Los Angeles and is located about 15 miles north of Malibu and the Pacific Ocean.
The weather of this region is warmest in August and coolest in December time of the year. In February there are often heavy rains. There are times warmest temperature was recorded to 47 degrees Celsius in 1985 and coldest temperature to – 8 degrees Celsius in 1989.
