General Education Program (GenEd)

College gives you the chance to acquire expertise in a specific field, but it also should help you develop a broad base of skills, abilities and knowledge. Temple's General Education (GenEd) program serves as the university's liberal-education requirements for undergraduates and provides a foundation for learning and development that will help you succeed academically and professionally.

University Core Curriculum

The core curriculum is Temple's liberal-education requirements for all undergraduate students admitted prior to fall 2008 and all transfer students admitted prior to fall 2010. The core, in combination with your major, provides you with the intellectual skills and knowledge needed for academic success in college. It also equips you with a useful education for your career, citizenship and personal life.

Degree Auditing Reporting System (DARS)

DARS shows your course work to date—including transferred courses—and the academic requirements you need to complete a degree in your major field of study.
